Your statement of Purpose is your one chance to impress. You need to focus on your aims and goals and assess your skills and abilities.Structure is important so organise your material accordingly. Personal Statement Topics: Reasons for course choice, Your approach to your subject, Your interests and personal development, Your career aspirations, Any relevant work experience, If you have taken a gap year then, Why ? Please remember that your personal statement is about you. Focus not only on your academic development but your growth as a well rounded individual. Try and make your personal statement different and interesting so that it stands out. |

Recommendation
/ Reference:Who should write the reference?
If you are at school or college, you should ask your
head teacher, principal, teacher or tutor. How to write
the reference? The reference should be written in English.
At the top of the page, in the spaces provided, give your
name, how you know the applicant (for example, head teacher)
and the name and address of your school, college, company
or organisation. After the applicant's name, please give
the reference. Do not repeat the information that the applicant
has given, unless you want to comment on it. To help the
universities and colleges, try to comment on the applicant
as follows: academic achievement and potential, including
predicted results or performance suitability for the courses/subjects
applied for any factors that could influence, or could have
influenced performance personal qualities, such as motivation,
powers of analysis, communication skills, independence of
thought career plans any health or personal circumstances

How to apply
for the postgraduate programme?
The recruitment office at Warwick encourages all the
graduate applicants to apply on-line as it is more efficient.
For online application please log on to: http://postgrad.warwick.ac.uk/SWIFT/pgapp/login.asp
The cost of the on-line application is £30 and can be paid using a credit card. Paper based applications are available for those who cannot apply on-line., the cost of paper based application is £50, which is to be sent in the form of a cheque / bankers draft and needs to be in pounds sterling.
However some Post Graduate courses follow a different application process:
- Applicants for the Warwick MPA should visit our MPA application page
to download an application form.
- Applicants for the Warwick MBA programme should see the How to Apply pages on the Warwick Business School website.
- Applicants for the MSc in Management should see the MSc Management pages on the Warwick Business School website.
- Applicants to the MA in Social Work and MBChB should be made through UCAS.

- Applicants for PGCE programmes should apply through Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR).
How to provide supporting documents to the University? |
After submitting your online application, you can upload a maximum of 4 supporting documents via the Document Upload Facility. If you have provided valid email contact addresses for your referees in the online form, we will make an initial reference request to them on your behalf. Once your application has been received into the Postgraduate Admissions Office, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you.
The following information will usually be needed before a decision can be finalized on your application:
- 2 academic references
- Degree transcripts
- English Language test certificate (if appropriate)
- Research proposal (if appropriate)
- Any other documents which support you application.
Attested copies of documentation confirming all of the information you have provided must be made available to the University on request. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of any offer of a place at the University of Warwick. |

that would enhance your application should be attached.

The requirement for Engineering programme is an average of 80% overall over Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). Candidates should possess:
Candidates applying for Full-time MBA should hold a first
class honours degree from a reputed institution. An above
average well - balanced GMAT score is also required. In addition
a minimum of 3 - 4 years full time professional experience,
with evidence of clear career progression, responsibilities

take an English Language test. This could be either the TOEFL
or IELTS as it is a basic requirement for all Indian applicants.

What if I don’t
have the necessary work experience?
The Warwick MBA is classed as a post experience degree where
students share their knowledge from the work place and gain
more of a business insight. This is why we set the minimum
of 3 years post degree level work experience for Full-time
candidates and 4 years for Part-time candidates. To avoid
disappointment, it would be in your best interest to consider
applying in the future once you have this level of experience.
Many of our students have 5 – 8 years experience.

Is there a Word

We do not have a Word version of the reference forms. However,
referees may answer the questions on a separate sheet and

Can I use the
Graduate School’s Post Graduate Application form?
No, we have a specific MBA application form, which includes
essay questions. We cannot process MBA applications received
on the standard Graduate School application form.

Shortlisted candidates (Full-time or Executive) are invited
for an interview, preferably face-to-face, with a Warwick
Business School representative (ideally on campus), overseas
or via telephone. A decision is usually available 10 days
following the interview. Distance Learning Candidates are
not required to have an interview.

The interview is relatively informal and seeks to evaluate
a candidate’s suitability for the MBA programme. As
well as discussing a candidate’s application, the interviewer
may wish to find out more about a candidate’s personal
qualities, motivations and aspirations.
